Montvale, New Jersey covers approximately four square
miles. This small borough offers a variety of housing
for all tastes as well as an attractive network of
roads that has drawn major national and international
corporations. Direct bus service to Manhattan is available
in addition to train service to Hoboken with connecting
PATH service to New York City, Jersey City and Newark.
The town's school district is comprised of two primary
schools and one middle school (special-needs programs
are also available).
The town's recreational activities and organizations
include the Montvale Recreation Department, which
sponsors activities that include ice skating, softball,
and bowling; the Montvale Swim Club, a privately-owned
facility offering swimming lessons and picnic grounds;
and the Montvale Athletic League.
