Woodcliff Lake is a 3.33 square
mile community nestled in the
rolling hills of northern Bergen
County. Retaining a rural atmosphere,
Woodcliff Lake has three commercial
areas instead of a central downtown.
Recreational facilities include
one local park, one county park,
three public playgrounds, four
athletic fields, six lighted
tennis courts, and one public
swimming pool.
Two primary schools (Dorchester
Elementary School and Woodcliff
Lake Middle
School) and the Pascack Hills
High School (Montvale) serve
the district's students. Membership
in the Pascack Valley Special
Education Council allows the
school system to provide services
to students with special needs.
New Jersey Transit provides
direct bus service to Manhattan
(approximately a 60-minute
ride) and train service as
well as train service to Newark,
and Jersey City via the PATH
trains in Hoboken. Local New
Jersey Transit buses run regularly
through the municipality.
