“Our inspiration for palette and design for the great room was the spectacular large bay windows that overlooked the home’s property.  Our organic palette of sand, fern and brown is punctuated with teal blue and compliments the beautiful exterior view with the changing of the season from summer to fall.  Because these windows were so very impactful, we decided to continue the scenic view with a custom mural on the rooms’ only full wall and a contemporary autumn landscape oil painting above the fireplace. The result was one that allowed the visitors to feel wrapped in the organic serenity of the season.  

The transitionally styled seating is plush and comfortable and arranged to encourage conversation whether sitting by the fireplace or listening to an impromptu concert on the baby grand piano. We celebrated the 12′ ceilings with teal window treatment panels and tall etageres which flank the fireplace.
